First Season DVD Now Available!

Reviewer's Comments From Amazon.com

"This is without a doubt the strangest most wonderful watch since Twin Peaks first season... but actually... much better in sooooo many ways. Worth the price just to see Ed O'Niel and Zippy... on repeated viewing this show is one of the highest pieces of writing I've seen in years from TV... or film... too bad the show was cancelled but it still sort of works as a ten episode mini series... it leaves you hanging at the end... but somehow even that sort of works for this... Hey Milch and Nunn... just write a novel to finish it out for us fans." -mickey

HBO Websites For JFC

Here is a list of websites that HBO has setup for the show "John From Cincinnati"

  • www.HBO.com/JohnFromCincinnati - This is the main website for the show, hosted on HBO's website.
  • YostClan.com - This is a website devoted to the Yost family with some background info on all of them, as seen in episode 6 at the Internet cafe. There are also some hidden "Easter Eggs" that you can find if you play around with it long enough.
  • JohnMonad.com - A pretty cool flash website where you have to search for keywords related to the show in order to display hidden media (sound files, pictures, video) I have found many of them already but haven't found 100%. Not sure what, if anything, happens when you find all of them.
  • StinkWeedUSA.com - This is Linc Stark's website for his surfing company "Stink Weed USA". The site includes information on the members of Linc's surfing team and also a small bit about Shaun's first competition where he ended the heat with a spinal injury.
  • There are also various YouTube.com profiles setup on behalf of characters in the show like Shaun Yost, Mitch Yost, and the lawyer Meyer Dickstein. Most of these videos are also displayed here on this website.
I will add more links to this post as I find them...
